the head is made of a very soft ferris metal (iron). Not good for much gunsmith work. Head marks up easy. but it looks great. Will mot take any sharp blows. the wood going into the head broke off. The wood is very dry and will need much linseed oil (watco danish oil) to help preserve it. Hope you get a better quality tool than I did. But it looks great. Not worth sending back

The item received was Not described as in the Description Or the Description picture. They didn't know the item was different on description until I had brought some light to it. So in a way I also helped inform them about the product change they were not aware of the supply item) But The communication w/ the seller was like any other seller on here slow to get a response/reply. But I did get a response. And things were corrected. I got a refund for the item. I would do business again.
