Well engineered, light and robust for miniature power drills/tool's. It is not robust enough for a standard electric drill. I bought it for for drilling printed circuit boards and other fine engineering work and model making. However it somewhat over the top in size and robustness for drilling holes up to 2mm diam. This stand is all metal, with diecast aluminium for the base and the drill/column assembly. Handle and lever are 3mm thick steel. No flexing is evident. Other miniature stands considered were several times the price with plastic in critical area's. Excellent value, and not expecting it to need replacing due to breakage.

The bolt that is used to hold the pivot action in place has broken, so I cannot stop the drill press from moving and swiveling around, which is of course the whole point of having a drill press. This makes the device completely unusable. I don't think I could fix this easily as well, as the bolt itself does not unscrew, I'd have to break the lever open and replace the parts etc. Not worth it for something so cheap. I thought this was a really good value buy, but guess not.

A good product for the price & easy to assemble. The base is very light and it does need bolting down for the extra stability.

Needs some shimming in non-fixed part of the drill holder as it is rather too loose a fit on the column. At this price, that is no problem. Actually I am not using it for a drill but with a mini spot welder head and after the above adjustment it is just great.

Good product for a good price. Not for continuous use as it's quite a heavy pull, but ideal for occasional use.
