      Probably good for power supply applications

      This is described as a metal film resistor, which typically is reasonable at higher frequencies. The internal shape of this (I scrapped the surface off after measuring frequency response), is a coiled material. Frequency response becomes inductive (higher impedance) above 10 MHz. Wanted to use these for lower power (<5W) RF loads, but they are not suitable. The seller was possibly accurate in their description and I will bill this as learning experience. Picture below shows coil format after scrapping away surface.

      Good product.

      I ordered these because I am building a low power Watt meter and I wanted the load to be near 50 ohms. All the resistors were better than 5% and a couple of them were within 1% much closer than I need and even with the inaccuracies of my multimeter they are better than I had expected.

      Just the right fit, not to big.
