I was buying parts to build a machine with my son. We started with a motherboard and then the Intel Core i5-6500. We aren't huge gamers but of the games we both play and of the other needs of users in the home, this thing is a beast. I have never had an issue with any intel items. The Intel Skylake i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor with Heat Sink was the first processor I bought for my Aurora R5, Worked very well with No problems at all, Ran very cool and fan was peaceful. Moved this processor to a MSI B-250 Motherboard in a Dell XPS Studio case and it lives there now, Very nice item. Worked well with my Oculus Rift V.R. Setup as well. Very Happy and Satisfied.

CPU works perfectly so far. It was shipped somewhat poorly, and thermal paste on the pads of the underside on the CPU. I hope it wasn't used. In all, good CPU, and works fine.
