I've had a few meters in the past, Fluke 77 and a Radio Shack meter that had a lot of features, and this one seems to be about as good as them although there is some features missing. My old RS meter had a transistor tester and a bar graph. The Fluke had some other features plus it is a Fluke. What I really like about this meter, the display. For my old eyes, it is very easy to read. I just wish it had a bar graph on the display. That makes it a little easier to catch voltages that are changing quite often and the display can't keep up. Like a charging capacitor or something like that. I'll also add, this one seems to measure resistance of low values really well. You may have to adjust for the resistance in the leads and such but that is generally true of every meter I have ever had. For the price tho, this is a really good meter. If this has the features you need, it's a good buy.Read full review

I won the bid on this model meter for $15.00 + shipping. Then I found a new set of FLUKE leads in a flea market for $5.00. No complaints here. I love the display (easy read) and the timed off feature. I found an extra shaving kit that holds my meter, the leads, some jumper accessories, connectors, tape, and thermal probe for meter perfectly. It makes a great kit. I take good care of my tools and this one looks like it will last me a lifetime.
