Hot Racing Low CG Trans
The Hot Racing Low CG trans is a quality piece. Hot Racing, IMHO, does not get the credit they deserve for quality engineered products for RC. This trans is no exception. Fit, finish, and machining are all top notch. Unlike other brands, this trans also came well greased. Having said all that, this unit is super reductive in terms of output. It's like full time creeper gear. Even with the max size pinion, you'll not get above a casual walking pace. Because of that, the build I ordered this for did not work out, but I'm sure I'll find a place for it. All of my other rigs sport Hot Racing SCX/aX trans units and they have all been bullet proof.

Hot Racing AX10 LCG trans
I’ve never purchased anything Hot Racing manufactures until now. I never linked any of their stuff. When I needed a LCG trans for a custom crawler this was a low cost solution. I’m glad I got this one, it’s nice, well designed and it’s exactly what I needed for about half the cost of the other options that are out there.

not so easy
this was supposed to be a replacement but it did not fit well and needed to be modified. it also does not use the gears sizes that it is advertised as supporting.

Torque monster
This thing is a beast. I recommend a faster motor to pair with this beast. I put a 12t brushed with a 23t pinion to get a factory speed, but you can't stop this torque monster of a transmission. It's a little loud but makes it sound like a truck. Good part!
