Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Compressors & Sustainers
Aside from a bit of pumping at higher Sustain levels, this is a very effective compressor. I use it for bass guitar and only the first setting (Compact) eats a little of the lower frequencies. The other two settings don't change your input tone very much so it's reasonably transparent. The noise gate is alright if you don't set it too high. The price on these used ones make it a no brainer. Get one cheaply if you can!

This compressor is literally built like a tank. It weighs about the same as a brick,so you couldn't ask for more solid construction. It does pretty much what it is supposed to do as far as compressing the tone. With three different levels of compression it has a pretty good range to it. You can also set it so it works as a big volume booster as well.
I'm new to compressors and picked this one because of the positive things people were saying. I also picked it because I want to use it with single coils and humbuckers and it is supposed to be great with both. The three way switch really does give you different styles of compression. I'm attempting to find "my tone" and I think this is going to be part of the chain. Super heavy, super tough. It was hissy running through my Gaor power block. I put in a 9 volt and it was silent. They also say not to daisy chain it and a standard 9 volt power supply will run it silently. I'm digging it so far!
Great pedal for people who like that added sustain or compressed sound added to there distortion pedal. Awesome for heavy metal users. Also a good pedal for people who like a clean style playing of a electric guitar. The pedal gives it a great sound for older style rock music. Definitely a great pedal. smooth turning knobs with different noise gates.
I got what I asked for and it was quick. The peddle works great and has great sound. The best thing about it is that I can use my other Line6 module in it and it works just fine.
