On older/higher mileage vehicles, you could consider these rearview mirrors to be wear items. Replace when delamination appears along the black frame.
I've replaced a number of these on the fleet of work trucks, ranging from an early-'99 Ford F-350 Super Duty (according to my research, this part number works with this model year) to a 2013 Ford F-550 Super Duty. I wanted to give these rearview mirrors four out of five stars due to the fact that these deteriorate. Then again, the deteriorated mirrors were mounted on work trucks with varying degrees of (ab)use; some were left sitting for a couple of years before recommissioning, others have accumulated high miles. They aren't garaged and the Caribbean sun doesn't do any favors. On older/higher mileage vehicles, you could consider these rearview mirrors to be wear items. Replace when delamination appears along the black frame. I went with eBay because I knew it would arrive faster with ... Did not fit our vehicle
This was ordered for a 2013 Ford Explorer, however it did not come with the part that attaches to the windshield. Unfortunately, it did not fit in the attachment that was on our windshield. So....waste of money. It should come with all parts needed to actually work.
