Works great, no hiccups if your system is compatible. Causes no-start black screen in all my amd systems. Strange labeling--: This product is labeled in such a way with '8' in the number and 4gb in small letters. can be deceiving, since 8gb is the most common DDR3. Speed limited by motherboard-- GSkill Ares can be useful if you don't need lots of RAM and your motherboard can handle 2133, 2400, and 2933 and is overclockable. A lot of ddr3-era boards, especially non-z chipsets, are limited to 1600mhz (like mine) or 1867mhz, so the full benefit of this RAMs speed is not seen except in a few boards, Compatibility:-- Intel only. Unfortunately it did not work in any of the amd boards I had that go to 2933 RAM, so I had to use it in an intel system that is limited to 1600MHz (ASUS BM65 chipset). Capacity-- For modern use, 4 slots of 4GB in a desktop is a light capability. for anything but office use In my case I would not get them again, though at first I thought the great speed would be an advantage But if you need 4x4GB to fill your slots, this is the fastest out there.Read full review
