    This C adapter was exactly what I needed to use my Samsung gear vr with the S9 phone and it worked fine. I just didn't know that Oculus/ Meta don't support this old tech anymore so they don't even let you download the required apps and software to actually use the gear vr so it makes the whole thing unusable. I tried to do some workarounds I found on Youtube to get around this issue but no luck. But, the C adapter did exactly what it was supposed to do so that's why I'm rating this as 5 stars.

    By following the steps outlined here, the Gear VR headset is still fully functional - just Google, "The Gear VR Codex" without the quotation marks.
