Pros:- Lighter weight, better ergonomic design and far easier to use than the six year old Breville knife that carked it recently. Cons:- 33% more expensive. Service:- Any country (especially the size of Australia), that can organize an order to a pickup in under 3 days is doing all right. Please give my respects to all concerned - that would have been impossible 5 years ago. Conclusion:- Even if this unit stuffs up in the next 3 or 4 years I think I would still replace it (unless of course something better comes along in the meantime). It's just OK
Bought to replace an old model Sunbeam and for the longer blades .This one seems to be less robust build, is noisier and doesn't cut fresh made bread as easily. Still does the job though.

Lightweight and reasonable easy to use.
Having had the same brand for years ands years, I decided to update. The design was good, features updated from previous, the only fault I could find that it was a little bit hard to hold after using it for a while, I was cutting a leg of ham.
