It’s exactly as advertised: crystal clear w warmth due to the Alnico 5 magnets on clean and really distorts well on overdrive/distortion. Long lead wires made it an easy install. Waiting on a tone push/pull pot to coil-split. Looks cool and I can tell it’s a well-made pickup. Similiar to Artec’s p90 humbucker but this Giovanni one sounds better than the Artec’s I have in other guitars. Will purchase again.

- v***e (451)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseThis is a clone of the 'Super Distortion' pickup that was originally made in the typical HB format, but is now also offered in a P90 format by the original company (who's name I won't mention). So, this pickup measures 12.5K DC resistance and the original measures 13.5K. BTW, the original had a ceramic magnet while this clone has an A5 magnet so this is different. All of this said, at half the price of the original maker's version, this is a well made pickup and sounds quite good.
