    Not a safe for theft.

    Even though the price is low I would not really call this a safe. The gasket around the lid won't stay on unless you glue it on. The latch and handle are plastic and very cheep. It can be broken into without much effort. I question the fire and flook protection. If it affords fire and flood protection that is its only value. No protection from theft. Possibly only a little bit of a slow down.

    Poor locking mechanism.

    This safe is very sturdy and very heavy. I am disappointed the the locking mechanism is made of plastic and pops off very easily. Why bother putting a lick on it when it can be broken into so easily.
