This product is good for students and for professional work. Specs are better than the entry level macbook. The weight is good but gets heavier when you add hard cases. The 13” screen is good size but would be better if has Retina display that MacBooks and MacBook Pro has. Price is OK and good to buy when on sale. Highly recommend if you like Apple computers.

The MacBook Air range has been around a while and has had minor updates during this time. While you we get the Apple quality (means different things to different people - my experience has been mixed over the past 15 years), it comes at a premium price. Other PC's have touch screens, better specs, and thinner bezels at this price point, but it is still a solid choice for non-intensive activities and should serve me well over the next 3-4 years. Overall a pretty safe choice, but would have chosen a little differently had it not been the recommended model for the school.

Happy with my Mac but just wish it kept all the formulas as in Exel and also the format of Word. Lots missing and it’s what I use all the time. Funny how my IPhone and IPad has all the Microsoft products for me to use so why not the Mac. All Apple so can’t understand why. Mmmmm. Might get an answer one day. Cheers
