They were sealed completely to avoid moisture damage. There was one small mistake: he sent 2 Volume I's & not a Volume II. I contacted him promptly & shared pix of the 2 identical manuals. He apologized immediately for the mixup & issued the Return Shipping Label. The missing Volume II arrived today sealed up just as well as the original. GREAT Vendor!
