I purchased this card to expand my server's storage to a 2.5-inch SSDs. The card arrived and looked brand new. It had an older firmware on it, but this was flashed in about 10 minutes to a more modern firmware. If you are not sure how to do that there are tons of easy-to-follow YouTube videos that show you how to flash the firmware.

(not sure why) Attached this to a 24 bay diskshelf, I am migrating away from p410 raid 5 with 8tb drives to Unraid. Seems to be working great.
