Reading through the reviews I could see that people had mixed feeling about this coffee, so I tried it full of hope but knew that it may not suit me. I was pleasantly surprised that it arrived sooner than expected and it had 11 nov 2020 as roasted date which would have been on the same month I ordered and received it. Taste wise I'd like to think I know what I am talking about, but I am no expert so it base purely on my taste buds. Personally I've had better, I think it is a tad too bitter for me, but I still enjoy 2 to 3 cups of it every morning (I drink it black and without any sugar), so it can't be that bad! For the price I would definitely order again, especially since I am used to the taste of it now. Having read through how the company works I was very keen on trying them and I am ... Bought this as prefferred Italian blend for some reason not available in 1kg bag, Its slightly too bitter for partner to enjoy. Have now ordered bigger size Italian, but cant understand why 1kg size not available when small batch roasting?

A decent compromise
This is a good everyday coffee and works out great value if you avail of the discount by buying several at once. I actually prefer Caner's 'No.1 Espresso' blend as it's stronger, but I buy this because the others in my household like the milder 'House Blend'. I'm happy enough to compromise for a quiet life.

I thought I would try this supplier as I'm always looking for a good value coffee. I love the flavour, but not quite strong enough for my taste.......But the supplier indicated they would supply a darker roast next time, so it will be 5 stars then.
