    Small glass kiln users will learn a lot from this book

    Petra Kaiser has written the perfect book for owners of small glass kilns such as the Paragon Quickfire. Included are firing charts for all types of great projects done in a small kiln. Something that is very hard to find anywhere. I now feel much more confident using my Quickfire. The projects Petra includes in the book are fun, interesting, educational and perfect for beginners or small kiln owners. This is the 3rd glass fusing book I have purchased and by far the best for small hot glass projects. I wish I had this book when I first purchased my kiln. Petra reminds readers that they do not have to follow the exact patterns she includes as long as the concept is the same so you learn what she is teaching and understand it. She encourages readers to be creative and use the lessons as ...

    Introduction to Glass Fusing by Petra Kaiser

    I am absolutely a novice at glass fusing and wanted a comprehensive book on the subject. This had a lot of good information, but was too broad for me as I am only interested in making fused glass jewelry. If, however, someone was interested in fused glass as a broader art, this is a great book. It is easy to understand and has lots of illustrations of the steps involved.

    This book is very informative! I would reccommend.

    Lots of information, clearly written. Lots of charts and pictures. I checked this book out at my local library before I bought it. It was so helpful, I purchased it.

    Excellent, Helpful Book...

    This book covered everything I needed to learn about Fusing, Firing, Tools, etc...for the project I was working on. I found that Ebay had the best price.
