I contacted the seller after receiving the item and they never responded. The ad headline said salt and pepper shaker and had two photos. It turns out they were a front and back photo. While the fine print did admittedly say it was one shaker, the headline and two photos led me to believe it was a SET bc the ad said salt AND pepper and had two photos. I don't believe I've ever posted negative before. Be careful out there-there are other options
