More like Halo: The Start of Halo 5
Let me start of saying that I loved Halo: The Fall of Reach book. I thought it was well written and it is one of the few books that I still reread till this day. When I heard about the release of the animated feature I was ready to shout “Shut up and take my money!” However, like any other book to movie adaptation, the book was better than the movie. It seemed like the movie wanted to focus on setting up Halo 5, more than actually focusing on the book that it is based off of. I was disappointed that some of my favorite parts of the book never made it to the movie. However, I still found the movie to be entertaining, and the style of artwork was amazing. I enjoyed how the movie managed to follow the style of the book by breaking up the character’s log entries as well. If you haven’t read ...
