    I did not mean to get you mad but a 2016 Ford F-150 truck has an aluminum body as I recall? Magnets do not stick to aluminum. I don't think you are stupid for not understand the word ferrous metal. The ad says ferrous metal which is steel. The magnet seems strong to me. I will admit that because the size of the magnetic base that it may not stick to curved panels as well because it tends to rock but will stick under the hood very well as I test ALL products before selling them.
