Happy with product
My board and processor combo arrived ahead of schedule. I was a little worried with how it arrived, the mobo was loosely wrapped in ordinary bubble wrap. Fortunately everything operated as expected and I’m happy with the outcome.

Good overall GP MOBO
I bough t this board as a replacement for a failed OEM product with leaking caps. Decent board for general work when paried with a 3GHz P4. Good overall features and well designed. Has AGP slot for graphics, but well performing cards can be purchased at a nominal price. Onboard graphics subtracts from installed memory, so more than 2GB is suggested when using it. Nice for spreadsheets, word processing and general work with graphics files. I would not recommend it for movie editing. Even though it is a microATX format, it comes with 4 memory slots and 3 PCI slots. No PCI Express though. Intel standard front panel interface includes all indicators you will need. The general quality of Intel boards is high, which prompted me to make this purchase. No dislikes. I knew what I needed before I ... Intel Website + This Motherboard = Fun Project < Than $expected
The greatest thing about this motherboard is that it is made by Intel and Intel has a great website for finding information about all their products, even discontinued products such as this motherboard. I was also able to download drivers and software for this motherboard. I had an old PC in the basement with a fried motherboard and by using the Intel website, I was able to determine which Intel motherboards would be compatible with my memory and processor. After searching for those motherboards on ebay, I found this motherboard at a great price and in excellent condition. I enjoy building PC's, but that can be an expensive hobby. Buying this motherboard gave me a fun project at a very low cost. At this point in time components (such as memory, processors, etc.) for this ... Intel D865GLC - Not the best but works
Even though you may know Intel for their processors, you may not know they also make motherboards as well. Many of the Dell desktop computers are sold with Intel Desktop / Desktop pro boards. Even though they make good chips, their boards are something to be desired. Intel boards are average in use and life but are priced above boards that are better in quality. The only pro to an Intel motherboard is the 3 year warranty they give. The Intel D865GLC was no exception. An average board priced beyond the value. Currently at the time of this writing, this board is Out-of-Support from Intel and any warranty you hope to have from the New-in-Box that you may find will require a fight and a receipt NOT from ebay. Intel will not retro their warranty if you got it from ebay. If you get this board ... Even though you may know Intel for their processors, you may not know they also make motherboards as well. I like Intel MMX Products
I've had several intel mmx motherboards. I believe that they stand the test ,in performance for work or play in audio and video. I have trusted in the intel name without a doute when I've began a job captureing video or audio. Without hesitation when I saw the intel celeron P4 motherboard I had to purchase that item imediatelly at that especially low price. I had no doutes when I mounted The motherboard in the case,and I had no doute that when I poweded the board,and booted up to my OS that it would be exceptional as I assumed. I am very happy with my purchase,and I know others will be happy with such as a Intel P4 Motherboard. Respectfully SubmittedI've had several intel mmx motherboards.
