I had a small brown stain running down the middle of one of my front teeth and this removed it. It also removed brown staining between my teeth. It removes silty kind of stuff so I kept rinsing my mouth out. It does not hurt, the sound is high pitched whining but it's okay, the light and mirror are handy. I'll repeat tomorrow in better light to see how the polishing goes. So far it is fantastic. Thanks OZ3CPLAZA!

The only drawback is this unit does not come with a water reservoir and spray nozzle pump as shown in a picture. There is no water at all. You need water as lubricant for plaque cleaning, or you will chip enamel and damage the outer tooth crown. I cannot recommend this design as it may in fact damage teeth surface when used as water is a vital component of ultrasonic cleaning.
