The 17th edition has been fully revised, and now includes values for both gummed and self-adhesive stamps. New catalogue numbers are used to allow for variations, as well as new suffixes to differentiate the type of stamp in the catalogue. The book includes a comprehensive table with description of suffixes in the book. This publication is a concise catalogue showing current values, at the date of publication, Australian and Australian Antarctic Territory postage stamps. General information on each issue is given but not specialised details - perforations, watermarks, method of printing etc. Renniks Stamps of Australia, 17th Edition has been entirely revised. This Edition is the most comprehensive revision since the book's first publication in 1984. Major changes include: * Bigger size of the book, previously A5, now 30% bigger to B5. * Updated, corrected and improved images. * Updated pricing. * Additional introductory pages. * Additional descriptions and relevant information. * Additional value columns for Gummed and Self Adhesive stamps of the same type. * Changed catalogue numbers.     Australian Stamps - Complete

    A comprehensive, detailed and accurate record of all Australian stamp issues including other philatelic issues. Detailed descriptions of every issue from the commencement of sender-pays postage in the states of the colony, through federation to the present. Pre-decimal issues explained and explored, with three values for early issues. As a longtime collector, it is my single source and reference. This latest issue has a larger format, images are larger and clearer in full colour. This should be the master reference for all Australian collectors.

    Very pleased with the publication generally.

    Easy to track the stamps. I like the way the stamps are displayed in the book and in the years of release. Can't find a few of the old stamps that I have in the book. haven't formed an opinion on the first day covers presentation at this stage.

    Very useful reference

    Like the larger size and layout.Easy to follow,but the greater detail is somewhat confusing,especially if you are not a specialist collector and have been using earlier editions.Altogether a good product.
