I FELL IN LOVE MANY YEARS AGO WITH THIS FILM. I LOVED WHAT DAVID CRONENBERG WAS DOING AT THIS TIME, FOR EXAMPLE SHIVERS,THE BROOD AND VIDEODROME. ANYWAY I MUST OF FIRST SAW THIS WAY BACK IN 1982, AND WAS QUITE AMUSED THAT ROSE WAS ACTUALLY PLAYED BY A PORN STAR WHO I HAVE TO ADMIT CARRIED THE ROLE OF PRETTY WELL. Sexually implicit Exploitation film
i'm not sure why Cronenburg writes such a lousy, "horny" script. it's a spinoff from shivers. just to make quick bucks, i guess. only this time, the producer manage to cast a pornstar as the "protagonist". this time, it's a bit more budget, Epidemic in the city, but the story try to force a vampire story into a zombie show. the show starts off with a motorcycle accident. it leads to generic skin grafting which turns her into a on-off killing machine. no logic at all. The only creative part this female Dracula know how to hide her Sexually induced fang. it's kind of funny. this time around more body counts and description about the symptoms are better. it ends appropriate with no question left behind. the show is worth a watch.
