    Pleased with this fan

    I researched fans in this price range and settled on this model. It is very quiet. I didn't want a roaring fan because i wanted to be able to leave it running for a while after showering, until the room is completely dried out. The humidity sensor is perfect for this. After a shower, it seems to run for another hour or so before shutting off. However if you start it in sensor mode while the room is dry, it just runs. This is contrary to what I would expect - but not really a problem. The blue LED is actually bright enough to gently illuminate the room enough to see, if you get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. For the money this fan is a great value. I would recommend it for smaller bathrooms, that is, 8x8 or 8x10. I plan on buying a second one for another bathroom in my ...

    just ok, go with the grb80 instead for adjustable humidity sensor

    the light is very bright for a small br, somewhat fixed with some stick on tinting. the biggest problem is the humidity sensor is hypersensitive, running all the time instead of when just showering. the grb80 is adjustable, in hindsight i should have spent a little more and gotten the adjustable humidity detector. compared to my old cheaper nutone, it is considerable more quiet

    Great bathroom fan

    Quiet, bright, small and unobtrusive. I’m going to order more. Only thing to be aware of is that it may be smaller than your existing fan and in our case we had repainted the ceilings a couple times around the old fans. So when we removed them and put in this one it left s rectangle of old paint visible because it’s a smaller footprint than our old fans were. Not sure we have the old paint any longer so that’s the only downside to this smaller fan. Otherwise love it! Very quiet and stays on until the humidity is gone.

    Delta Breez Vent Fan System - Humidity Sensing with LED light VFB80HLED2

    Delta makes a fine, high quality product in this unit..This is my second purchase and self installation of this particular model. These units work great!! They are very quite and effective in turning on when the humidity reaches a certain level. Helps to keep the moisture level under control so as not to grow mold. The installation can be tricky and unless you have some skill in that field, I wouldn't recommend DYI.

    excellent product for the value, I recommend it as a quality product, quiet and high tech. I also have to mention that it is not easy to install when replacing an older unit. If you have attic access then its not a problem.
