    Fuel Tank Cap-Non-locking MOTORCRAFT FC-1058-Did the trick!

    I have a 2007 Ford Freestyle Limited that the original gas cap broke on & my husband found a random cap that fit, but then I noticed my check engine light came on. I was like, "Crap! What now?" I Googled stuff & anyways, read that if the wrong cap is on, it could possibly cause the check engine light to come on. So, I bought the above cap, & after replacing the random cap & driving the vehicle a couple of times, viola! My check engine light finally went off after showing for 2 months! Happy camper, here!     Perfect factory replacement gas cap!

    This gas cap is of high quality and is an actual Motorcraft product. It fits my vehicle perfectly and has corrected the code that kept coming up on the dash board of my Ford Explorer. The old cap that eventually failed was the factory cap that came with the vehicle when it was new, but since has failed after many years of doing it's job. This new cap is a perfect replacement!

    Fixed check engine light code problem.
