    Hard to find Spaghetti Western

    I had this movie for a long time and the quality was not so good and when I saw Dorado Films coming out with it in blu ray I tried to get it but copy's (1000) were sold out so I had to wait a year and a half before I found a like new on ebay so I purchased it and the quality is great for an old Spaghetti and I would recommend it for anyone who likes Spaghetti westerns this is one of the first ones.

    New boutique label (?) Nice set.

    This is a very good western. It's not really a "spaghetti" western as it predates Leone's product by a few months. It was made more in the style of a traditional American Western. The disc looks great. The package is very nice and there are two booklets. This film also came with a DVD of another western by the same director. While this film isn't as good (still rates 3 stars); it was a nice bonus. Yes, I did pay a good price for this, but I collect films of this type.

    Very Atmospheric Euro-Gothic

    This is a great film to watch late at night. It has a dreamlike score and lots of atmosphere. I like all the characters, even the ones you're not supposed to like. Story is interesting and I love the big mansion setting and Scope cinematography. Would be great on a double-bill with 1971's "Cold Blooded Beast."
