Item was listed as open box. I don’t feel that the item was “thoroughly inspected and tested before being resold at a reduced price”. Unit arrived with a message on the recorder implying a used condition without imparting complete knowledge of history. Two week experience confirm that the batteries are less than desirable for holding its charge. My conclusion is that the unit was not thoroughly inspected and tested before listing. Excellent receiver with hard to find feature
I've had my eye on this receiver for a couple of years because I've had an old Pioneer receiver from the 1970s that has been wearing out and I've needed to find a replacement. The Yamaha RX V750 is one of the few receivers still on the market that allow you to hook up a turntable and play vinyl records. When I finally found one on eBay with a price under $100.00 I snapped it up. This is a slick product and I really like the design of it. The functions of this product are great. I have hooked it up to my dvd play and it sounds great. This product is great for sound quality.

I hope the newer models sound as good as this.
The sound is very very good, it takes a little figuring out as to how it works, it is all done with the remote control. It's ideal for the audiofile we all have in us!
