Excellent reference book for those uninitiated in a technical electronic/acoustic background but want to learn or understand the workings of modern PA and recording techniques. Use this book to settle arguments, prove a point, or simply out geek anyone else in the band! Illustrations/diagrams are excellent; content extremely thorough but not overwhelming; print and layout make this an easy read anytime/anywhere.

One of few books on the subject matter. Nicely written. I bit too much math for some, not enough detailed math for others. To correctly cover the subject matter it could have gone a lttle bit heavier on the math. I little bit dated for some of the latest wireless technology. With its flaws, it is still a great book for someone in need of an intoduction to sound reenforcement.
this is very extensive , It has everything I need in working with music.

This book is essential for sound reinforcement. The author does an amazing job in explaining the world of audio. It is my audio bible. I use it as a reference all the time and I am an audio professional.
The book is good from the beginning to the end. It's not too simplistic, but it's not over the top "techy" either. Nice and simple illustrations, clear and direct. I bought this book for class.
