Arrived in undamaged box, sealed and wrapped item as "new." Typewriter had two malfunctioning parts about which I alerted qpd316. A few days later I received a reply saying someone would look at a booklet from an open box to see if it indicated points of lubrication. This was the last communication. -- As an unwrapped "new" item, no one could know about malfunctioning parts until the item was unwrapped, all the packing pins were removed, and someone tried to type on the machine. My bad luc
