Remote ID becomes mandatory by the FAA for ALL drones weighing over 250 grams. Having an Inspire 1 drone built in 2015 it wouldn't be compliant if you don't add an external RID module. Modules aren't cheap, so my worries were in how to attach the module safely to the drone without the risk of loosing it in midflight. Then I found this module mount that clips safely to the drone's arm and holds the module, I received it today and mounted it right away. It's a great mount.
