Works well and as promised with my Macintosh Plus. The gears are hard and sturdy! I apply a very small amount of silicon grease in the gear box and it needs to eject couple of times before the sound is back to normal (which is also the case with the original gears). Great replacement gear and I'm probably going to buy more.
