KickAss bass bridge
I am a hack when it comes to bass gear and musics emporor's new clothes. But I have been hugely impressed with this Hipshot product and the adjustability of this KickAss bridge inparticular. In was night and day for me in how much better it transferred the acoustic sound of my instrument let alone how much better it held the string tension for pick up use. The only thing I want to point out for anyone who is going over from another style of bridge i.e. a Schaller piezo style, ball end mount into the saddle itself. You will need to be conscious of string length as you will now be needing to add usable string length to your consideration. I had add about 2.5cm or 250mm for anyone else. Simply because you are now going in through the back of the bridge and you want the string tapper to happen ... I am a hack when it comes to bass gear and musics emporor's new clothes. Brought this bridge to put onto my Fender Squire Jazz Bass, it’s absolutely awesome looks stunning as you can see below and was easy to fit and install. It’s helped to improve a good bass guitar into an incredible one.

Hard to rate a long term product after a week but that seems to be the way of the world these days. 4 stars as I haven't really had the chance to use a lot. Delivery speed was ok. Package arrived in good nick. Easy to install. Fully functional in terms of all adjustments required. Good price point compared to other high mass bridges. Doesn't look as good as the more expensive products but that is to be expected.
