      These are for my nephews, Texas boys living in Puerto Rico; wonderful stories about s boy and his horse, the adventures they have - saving a lost calf, escaping from a fell in an abandoned quarry, encountering a mountain lion. Perfect for ages four through ten, fun for the grown-ups, beautifully illustrated with charcoal sketches. I love them; our fourth set -

      I love the Billy & Blaze books. My grandson does, too. The are for "read aloud" or for the grade school kids to read themselves. The story lines keep the attention, while being simple. You learn a bit about horses in the ones I've read so far.
