The transition from convicted felon to ex-con is no easy road for Johnny Cooper (Matthew Modine). When his parole officer (David Keith) assists in getting Johnny employment at a chop shop, it is only a matter of time before the criminal element returns. Fun in Mexico
Beautifully shot in Tijuana, Mexico, on 35mm film with a star-studded cast. Looks like Matthew Modine and some friends had fun in Mexico and made a movie as well. Was never meant to be a great movie, but it's really quite charming, and some great performances, including New Zealander Paul Fuemana from OMC "How Bizarre" fame as Mr Scary. Bruce Dern is awesome.
