    Trip to the Past

    I remembered these recordings from when I was a kid... and early "goth" before goth actually got started. I had most of the Basil Rathbone LP's, and had always wanted the Vincent Price editions put out by the same publisher. Now, with this collection, I can get them all, finally replacing the vinyl records that I have long since worn out. The audio quality is fine, although you can really tell that it came from analog. There are still one or two pops and clicks on the tracks, artifacts from the original master pressings. Still, with Halloween coming up, I can't think of anything that I'd prefer to have playing in the background for trick or treaters than these two great actors reading Poe.
