Item was packaged in a well protected box and interior filling. Was protected from elements fairly well. Item was as pictured and described and was in good shape. Attached to my lathe with no issue. Saved a significant amount as compared to buying a new bison. Shipping for the chuck was cheap compaired to all other sellersni saw. Buy with confidence.

This motor was the perfect replacement for the motor on my 1950 Shopsmith ER. It comes up to full speed very quickly thanks to the capacitor start. It did require me raising my Shopsmith on the bench a bit to accommodate the capacitor housing. It was packaged in a sturdy box surrounded by foam, so it was in excellent condition when it arrived. The shipping cost was very reasonable compared to others I considered. I was very pleased with the vendor communication, and I believe I got a great deal.
