About this product

Product Information

Not much has changed. The players have slightly different names and roles, such as an obnoxious oil executive in search of petroleum deposits, an anthropologist who is looking for Kong and a starlet looking for love and improved luck. The plot: a diverse group lands on an island in search of oil, and instead, finds King Kong. The finale in New York takes place not at the Empire State Building, but atop the World Trade Center, where Kong battles not only helicopters, but men armed with flamethrowers. A more developed romance as well as the relationship between the anthropomorphized Kong and the starlet. Dwan tries to save him and sheds tears when he dies. There's a well placed and much needed transition segue between the island and New York.

    the ape in the eighties

    well this is a fun take on every one's favorite big ape it's fun it's got cheese it's keeps to the story while trying to do new things which is one of the things about this take you can see they are trying to bring this story in to modern times which is were some of the changes they made come in things like they go to the island looking for oil or talking about wild life protection and instead of having him climb up the empire state building he climbs up the world trade center ( yes bit of a sad reminder there ) the cast are great the girl playing the air head actress they find on the way to the island does a good job she is a bit of a air head but you like her any way so if you are a fan of the 1933 and 2005 films this will be fun to see as it tells the story those two films told but in ...
