The pump is a described, it is a genuine Johnson pump in original box. It has obviously been sitting on a shelf for a while as the impeller is deformed where is was compressed however I would always change the impeller on any new pump before installing in boat as you do not know how long they have sat. At the price for this pump it is still much cheaper and a great buy. Shipping was on time and there were no problems. A+ seller.
