Product Information

Shadow Master is an animated shooter in which you must overcome wave after wave of insidious evil creatures and robots. Controlled by the Shadow Master himself, these monsters are hell bent on destroying every organic entity they encounter in an attempt to give their evil master full control over all the natural resources of the planet. Through a first-person perspective, you must meet this challenge head-on and save the world.<br><br>Gameplay centers on 16 unique levels of carnage filled with over 60 enemies to vanquish, including such monstrosities as the ShadowFist, mechanoids made in the master's own image, APES, or Alien Population Exterminators, the Skullpion (imagine a scorpion with heavy-duty armor), Spidroids, Scuttlers, who make suicide a palatable option and Deathseeds.<br><br>Many of the levels have multiple objectives that are explained during each pre-mission briefing. Crystals are gained throughout each game to renew energy levels and a half dozen weapons and power-ups are available as well. Additional levels (maps) are provided specifically for multi-player action which encompasses four modes of play: Individual (free-for-all), Team (cooperative), Team Flag Game (adds the element of flags) and Circular Hunt (selective target opponents). <br><br>The game ships with an exclusive comic book that is based on the game and reveals backgrounds on this futuristic (2239 A.D.) universe composed of The Dark Planet and the worlds of Silvan, Titan, and Glasys, home of the Shadow Master's security and surveillance net control center. The artwork of British fantasy illustrator Rodney Matthews serves as the inspiration for the worlds found in Shadow Master.<br><br>Ready to kick some monster butt?
