    2016 Kentucky Derby Glasses

    I have a Kentucky Derby party every year and serve the famous mint juleps in the official Kentucky Derby Glasses. Then each guest takes home their glass as a gift to remember the great time we had. These glasses add to the festivities and I hope create lasting memories of friendships and fun. I have been collecting these glasses since the early 1960's when I lived in Louisville, Kentucky, and fell in love with everything horses, as a teenager. The glasses are not too heavy, but of good quality and perfect for that mint julep, while watching the horses run.

    New Manufacturerr Needs to fix Issue

    The new Derby Glasses are not dishwasher safe and this is not acceptable. Many people use them for parties and this just means extra work. Because they are annual glasses, I of course, recommend them, but hopefully next year they will fix this problem (which, by the way, the old Manufacturerr did NOT have). I have run my previous glasses dating to 1980 in the dishwasher with no problems.
