This book is just one in a series based on easy to copy versions of vintage hair, make up ,fashion. They are easy to copy using the photographs of the models step by step.the products used are easy to come by, but some of the styles will take several attempts for you to get the hang of them, they are easier to try than some books and magazines I have tried so being your own hairdresser is more economic than going to the hairdressers as well as saving time and waiting for an appointment to come available. There's a style for everyone, from 1930s to 1960s, everyday and special occasions.

Good to have pictures of setting patterns for rollers and pincurls. Good basic introduction to vintage hair.

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT BOOK, FULL OF GREAT PICTURES AND EASY TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. i BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT TO LEARN HOW TO STYLE MY OWN HAIR VINTAGE STYLE, AND THE INSTRUCTIONS ARE SO EASY TO FOLLOW. IT IS A LOT EASIER TO USE THAN SOME OTHER BOOKS I HAVE PURCHASED.
Perfect book for different vintage hairstyles, I have tried a couple since I received the book and found it very easy to follow.
This is a very pretty book with lots of Vintage Wallpaper. However I was somewhat disappointed with the hairstyles shown. They are very basic, thyough the instructions are quite complicated. I think it could have devoted more pages to different variations of styles,Victory Rolls & Quiffs for example, rather than show photos of Cheryl Cole and the like. The book also devotes a lot of pages to 1960's styles like the Beehive, being into Rock n Roll and Rockabilly, these are wasted pages for me. If I could have leafed through beforehand, I doubt I would have purchased this book. But it is pretty!!
