  • The Wall

A great memorable and seminal classic concept album from Pink Floyd. The song,"Comfortably Numb" has one of the most fluid and original guitar solos in the history of Rock Music.Interesting transitions between songs. Watch the film "The Wall" to learn more about the story behind the songs. Also, consider Roger Waters' reality of and losing his father in a battle during WWII and consider how this tragic event effected his state of mind as an impressionable child and later as an adult songwriter. The last part of the album oses focus and gets lost in a musical theatre/Gilbert and Sullivanesque musical diversion. However, the mamouth greatness of rest of the album compensates for the weaker closing songs.
