Hadn't much opportunity to use the lens yet, but initial tests are very positive. Am very pleasantly happy with just how small and light the lens is for a 70-200 f2.8 equivalent. The Olympus 40-150 f2.8 Pro has an extra 100mm to work with, but it's also a considerably bigger, heavier and more expensive lens, and this Panasonic 35-100 f2.8 fits my requirements better. Also, coming as a Nikon user, Panasonic lens zoom the same direction, so it integrates with my muscle memory easier, especially for fast-paced shoots. The lens was also in significantly better condition than its listing of 'heavily used'. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase. This is my third time buying from the seller, and it won't be my last.

This is a lens that fits perfectly in my kit between the pro 12-40 and 45-150 zooms. When I don't want to carry the heavier and nearly twice as large 45-150, (which is also an amazing lens) It still gets me a 70-200mm equivalent in a 2.8 constant aperture lens, which was , for me, always a good range on 35mm film cameras. For some interesting comparisons see "shootout Olympus 45-150 vs Panasonic 35-100". If I could have only one of the two lenses, I'd probably choose the larger Olympus PRO, but it is especially nice to have both. These three lenses and a couple of small fast primes, on a weather-sealed body would set you up well for a round-the-world shoot. Though I use it mostly on OMD EM5 MkII and OMD EM-1, It is still small enough to balance well on my Pan GX85. Expensive, but worth every penny.Read full review

Awesome lens. Great low-light ability, crisp and sharp, compact and lightweight. Paired it with an Olympus EM-10 mk iv. Works great for portraits and telephoto. 70-200 mm full frame equivalent.

I just want to start this review, by making a comparison. Ten years ago, I purchased what became my best lens ever. A Canon 70-200 f:4 L. Sublime image quality and build construction. All I can say is that after switching to micro 4/3s 4 years ago, I don't regret selling my trusty 70-200 anymore. I just found an equivalent lens for my format. With the added bonus of being a stop faster, and with image stabilization to boot. You won't regret it any bit. Is like a bag of primes. Is THAT good.

A great lens to compliment your collection of must have Micro 4/3 lenses. Same goal length as popular high end 70-200mm offerings from Canon and Nikon, but a much lighter and smaller form factor. Balances well on my G7 and supports dual IS for newer Panasonic bodies and Olympus bodies. Great image quality the is super sharp wide open and even better at F5.6. Loving this purchase so far!

This lens is one of the best available for Micro 4/3 shooters. It can be used for many purposes, such as portraits, travel, wildlife, and anytime you need a zoom of high quality. The constant f2.8 is great for shallow depth of field and low light shooting. The barrel doesn't extend like most other zooms so it stays compact throughout the range. It is sharp from corner to corner. This lens is a necessity for those who need/want the best quality photographs. A recent trip to Yosemite is proof positive. When paired with the Panasonic 12-35mm f2.8 you have an unbeatable combination that will cover most everything you want to photograph. Just remember, you get what you pay for. Get one. You won't be disappointed.

I like how sharp this lens is. So far it is my sharpest zoom lens. Another huge plus of this lens is internal zoom and focusing which are very handy in our NorthWest weather which together with weather sealing provides a confidence during our wet winter.

This is the perfect FOV equivalent to full-frame 70-200 f2.8 zooms with the advantage of being less than half the size and weight. Until someone makes an f2 or f1.4 35-100 for MFT it’s the most obvious choice for a mid range zoom. If you get a discounted price it’s a great value. Even if you don’t you get excellent optics and build quality at a fair price.

One of two "required zooms" for Panasonic GH series and MFT mount cameras. The is a series one Lumix lens. There is now a series two. A Video friendly, f2.8 and optical image stabilization with a 70mm-200mm equivalency. Paired with the Lumix 12-35 f2.8 OIS you have what your need for most coverage. You can find great deals on a second hand ones. The pair originally retailed for over $2k US, Recommend This!

I'm selling my Sony FE 70-200mm f/4 G OSS that I were using on an A7 cause I replaced with this one in an em5ii. The image quality is beautiful, the lens is very lightweight and true weather sealing here. Better value for the money.
