About this product

Product Information

William de Worde, editor of the Discworld's first newspaper, just wants to get at the truth. Unfortunately, he has to cope with all the perils of a journalist's life - people who want him dead, a vampire with a suicidal fascination for flash photography, some more people who want him dead in a different way and, worst of all, the man who keeps wanting him to publish pictures of his humorously shaped potatoes. William just wants to get at THE TRUTH! Unfortunately, everyone else wants to get at William. And it's only the third edition . . .

  • Brilliant best seller from a magnificent author, easy to read.

The 25th novel in the Discworld series introduces William de Worde the first newspaper editor in Ankh-Morpork. While avoiding assassins, mental cases, and ole foul Ron he supports a suicidal, light addicted vampire, introduces a lady engraver to journalism and interviews a sixteen year old terrier. All this is just a day's work when publishing the Truth, oh and he has to do it all again tomorrow. Brilliant best seller from a magnificent author, easy to read and full of laughs.
