A dose for our dog is 2 pills and they are small. Although they are described as "tasty", she is fussy, but it is easily hidden in a tiny bite of meat. I don't know how well it works, as this for an old dog with many health issues, but there are scientific studies showing it to be helpful, so I will keep using it until she has another check-up and see what her blood-work shows. She has no side effects.
