    A great read with Historical significance

    I am half-way thru this book, and it has me captivated! This is my first read of the Bregdan Chronicles series, and I look forward to the following books. My only concern is that it may get too romantic, rather than historical which would be a turn-off for me. In the meantime, I am truly enjoying this first book.
