    1gb speed is a nice feeling!

    Well I have to say that this router unit is far better then my old orbi router, distance and speed is far better and everything works great ! The unit is a little slow setting up but once finished no problems, best router to date for me!

    Why is the no better apps for this?

    Set up is easy and they work reasonably well but they do drop from time to time and my biggest issue is you have extremely limited control over these units, The phone App is very basic and Arris for some reason has locked out any ability to dial in settings on the internet, all controls systems are locked out. Wish I had bought something else.

    Amazing range and very easy to setup

    Great product. Very simple to setup. Has a really wide range as well. I didnt really need a second one, but still setup one any ways. The switch over between the routers is smooth. The simple setup is also a con. There is very limited control. You cant change default WAN IP and restricted to what comes out of the box.

    Spoty coverage

    Setup was reasonably easy. Kept disconnecting and when connected wasn’t much faster than my existing deco 5. I will wait for the wifi6 deco to come out late this year. Unfortunately I got a good price on the 7800 with no return. I guess it will gather dust for now.
