The Sword and the Sorcerer
Its a cheesy warrior film. The lead villian is suppose to be the lead heroes brother. He looks older than ther father. Over the top acting. Plot was lame but I remember watching it as a kid and loved it.

A Favorite DVD From A Far-Away Country
Hard to find but worth it. I have been searching high and low for a NEW copy of this movie for over five years. Lots of so-called "new-other" items, which means "used", and Ebay should remove that category as it is deceptive. This movie ranks as the 17th highest grossing sword-and-sorcery movie of all time, right behind Conan the Barbarian - but Conan had the advantage of being on 1683 screens in its run; Sword only had 660 or almost 1/3 but only lagged $500,000 behind it ($39,565,465 vs. $39,103,465) in ticket sales in the same year. The DVD came, of all places, from Korea as an all-region disc and plays perfectly in all ways. So glad to get it after all these years.

Great early 80s fantasy
Where was the part in the fight with the goons that he punches through a (wooden) shield?? Oh well, great fun anyways. When rated-R movies were juicy. The camp is great, too. Lee Horsely is my homie. Yes I watched Matt Huston. Some.
